In Memory of Adam

Above are the Memory Walls in Adam's class created by Adam's classmates, the top one from his Grade six class and the bottom one by the other grade 6 class

On June 29th, Marilena and I met with both grade six classes in the Library on thier second last day of school. We surprised each child with a white Fox hat to remind them of Adam. As you will see in the pictures, in his last year he always wore the foxhat. We also brought Adam's very own white foxhat to the class, still not washed from the last day he wore it . I was very touched when the children asked if they could hold his hat and pass it around.Some hugged his hat and pressed it close to thier face. What an awesome group of kids. The support from the sporting associations has been great. The first game after Adam’s death, both teams played the entire game without a left winger, Adam’s position. His team wore black arm bands, and his initials on their helmets.

The son of our friends in Cornwall is dedicating his entire season to Adam and had Adam’s full name printed on the back of his uniform.

Adam's cousin Daniel in London had Adam's initials stitched on his uniform.
